White Horse is the place to go for Dressage Training in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  Located near Lawrence Kansas, south of Eudora and north of Baldwin City, it is easily accessed from almost any direction.   This is a link to the White Horse Photo Gallery .

What exactly is Dressage?  If you remember the "White Stallion/Royal Lipizzaner Stallions" movies from Walt Disney© the riding techniques demonstrated by the riders on the Lipizzans are dressage.  The tricks the horses do in the movies are not dressage.  White Horse has 3 1/2 Lipizzans. 

White Horse is not devoted solely to dressage training and riding.  We provide horse training and riding lessons for all ages.   We have a "very safe children's training program."   We also train ponies to drive.

White Horse provides a large indoor arena with an air-conditioned viewing lounge for non-riders and the not-currently riding.  An out-door arena is under construction.

White Horse provides an excellent Full Care Boarding facility for virtually any size of horse or pony.  Stalls are 12' by 12' with mats on the floors.   During the winter, the stall area stays significantly warmer than the outside.   We have turn-out paddocks.  Rates are reasonable and care is personalized to the horse and rider.  

Directions:
:From Lawrence Kansas head east on Highway K-10.  After about 3 miles you will find the 1st over-pass (which is 1900 E.)  Exit, go south, go straight through the 4-way stop signs.  Say hello to the exotic animals farm just after the stop signs (its on  the left).  Continue south to the intersection of 1900 E and 700 Road.  (about 7 miles south).  The south side of the intersection turns to gravel.  Turn left or east, go about 1.1 miles (over 2 hills).  White Horse is on your left (there is a small sign by the driveway).
